I was an active member of NAFSA: the Association of International Educators, for over twenty years, and served as Chair of NAFSA's Section on US Students Abroad (SECUSSA) in 1990-91. As a result of my experiences in the field of international education, combined with my popular musical interests, I created a list of songs that illustrate the presence of "Education Abroad in Popular Music".
